Vietnamese Wedding Custom

Three significant rites take place at a Vietnamese wedding on the same day. Le dam charity, the vicar’s family’s visit to the bride’s to formally request her hand in marriage, is the first festival. The two families swap items and conduct rituals to represent their union.
